Bathing Pavilion, Redondo Beach, California
Shown is the ocean-front side, of a Moorish-style pavilion with a flowerbed and lawn in the foreground. The saltwater plunge was built in conjunction with a Pacific Light and Power steam plant constructed to generate power for the streetcars, and it furnished heat for three swimming pools inside. This "saltwater plunge" was built in 1909. The publisher's number on the divided back is 842.
