This photograph is very similar to those used in the application to place "Christmas Tree Lane" on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. A larger representation of the memorial plaque on the far right bottom is in PC-001-964A. The memorial is to the planters of the deodar cedars lining Santa Rosa Avenue in Altadena from Woodbury Avenue (foreground) to Altadena Drive. The San Gabriel Mountains are in the far background. An antique car is barely visible on the left at bottom coming south on Santa Rosa Avenue. Although the title on the back reads "Pasadena Cal" the location of the photograph is just across the border with Altadena.
