The swimming pool of the Huntington Hotel is in the foreground, with a beach umbrella, and in the background on the right is the main building. The Huntington Hotel had been the Wentworth Hotel, opened unfinished in 1907. Purchased by "Big Four" magnate Henry E. Huntington, completed, and opened by him in 1914, it eventually became the Langham Huntington, celebrating its hundredth anniversary in 2014. It sits on 23 acres of parkland. This is a Real Photo Post Card (RPPC) with no publisher listed, but a number at the bottom of the title is 538.
