Hotel Huntington, Pasadena, Callifornia
The Huntington Hotel had been the Wentworth Hotel. Purchased by "Big Four" magnate Henry E. Huntington, renovated, and opened by him in 1914, it eventually became the Langham Huntington, celebrating its hundredth anniversary in 2014. This view in a warm black-and-white illustration shows the front of the hotel and the driveway. The back of the card has a logo for "Hechts Platino Series." This card has a divided back, so it must have been produced in or after 1907, when postal regulations changed to allow messages on the address side.
