At the Cawston Ostrich Farm, Pasadena, California
Although Cawston's Ostrich Farm raised birds to sell their feathers, they also had a tourist business. Ostriches pulled carts and carriages, and there were tours, clothing, and souvenirs for sale. Here a pride of ostriches wanders in a large paddock. The publisher's number on the divided back is B 54. The slogan "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders" on the back suggests that the card was part of a promotion of The Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific Railroad.
