These foldout postcards are paper black-and-white prints of prize-winning parade floats and their sponsors. These three prints are, from the top: "Long Beach Float," depicting "Flag Day, 1777, with a woman sitting like Betsy Ross with a United States flag spread out before her; "City of Glendale, Theme prize winner," showing hills and trees; "Inglewood Float" of "Centinela Springs"; and "Pasadena Lodge--B.P.O.E. prize winner." This last flat shows an elk in front, "Pasadena Elks" on the side of the float, and a family of people sitting and standing in the center between Santa going down a chimney and the elk.
