A trolley or streetcar is prominent in the foreground, with other trolleys behind it on both sides of the street and vintage automobiles, as well as a cart on the right side. Buildings line the street and pedestrians the sidewalks. The publisher's number on the divided back of this German-made card is A. 28. Another number is upside down in the stampbox: 1519. The slogan "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders" on the back indicates that this may have been part of a promotion of The Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific Railroad.
