This postcard has been trimmed and pasted onto heavy cardboard, making the back inaccessible. The title has been partly truncated but the card still shows a part of the mainland of Santa Catalina Island and Sugar Loaf Rock with its stairs and observation deck at the top with two people on it. The white space at the right would have been used for writing messages at a time when messages were not allowed on the back, placing the card in the few years around 1907 when postal regulations changed.
