Pacific Electric Interurban Rail Road Building, Los Angeles, Callifornia
This depot was at Sixth and Main Streets. The Pacific Electric Red Cars were taken out of service in 1961 and scrapped. Four counties were serviced at the peak of operation, on over 1,000 miles of track that was torn out starting in 1948. The building (1905) was named for Henry E. Huntington, then owner of the Pacific Electric Railway, and was renovated to become Pacific Electric Lofts. The number is 8644 in front of the title, but no publisher is named. The divided back indicates that the card must have been produced in or after 1907.
