The description on the back of this card goes on to identify the painter, Chris Siemer, and to describe the features: "the Spanish and Mexican days; mining; the period of cattle and great ranchos; the development of irrigation, hydro-electric power, oil, agriculture and horticulture, and the final suggestion of California as an abiding place for people." The picture in PC-001-767 captures the mural as seen in a room. Exposition Park was dedicated in 1913.
