PC-001-701
Westlake Park, Los Angeles, California
The viewer looks down on a sort of corral in which there is a pond with people looking into it. On the lake beyond the walkway a boat is sailing, and the city is visible on the horizon. The pond is a sort of aquarium--see PC-001-704 in which it contains seals. The publisher's number on the divided back is 4550, and there is also a number upside down in the stampbox--52888. This card was made in Germany. The publisher was in business from 1901-1915, circumscribing the possible date of the card from 1907 (when divided backs were first allowed) to around 1915.
