Columbia Hospital, Los Angeles, Callifornia
Tichnor Brothers, Inc., Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts
This cement building at the northeast corner of Orange (later Wilshire) and Witmer Streets had three wings, with Greek columns at the middle entrance. On the outside of every visible wall except the entrance are fire-escape ladders. In front are a lawn, wall and hedge. This hospital opened in 1911, but the site later became that of the Good Samaritan Hospital. The publisher's number is 1220 in the lower right corner. On the back is the logo of the Tichnor Brothers at the top of the dividing line.
