This is a Real Photo Post Card that is exactly the same as PC-001-646 but the latter is a tinted linen postcard in contrast to this photographic-process card. A large crowd is gathered on an extension to the Rainbow Pier as cars are parked or moving, pedestrians walk along the boardwalk, and others sit on the beach. Both the ocean and the enclosed lagoon are shown, along with the northern curve of the pier. The publisher's number after the title on the left is 140. The type of photographic paper used for this brown and silver image was manufactured from 1930 to 1950. The date of the linen postcard was around 1947, so this would presumably be earlier.
