This auditorium, designed by J. Harold McDowell, opened in 1932, extending 500 feet from the mainland at the center of the Rainbow Pier. The first auditorium (1905) was demolished after this one opened. This too was demolished in 1975 for the Pacific Terrace Theatre and Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center.
