Letter recd & pleased to hear from you. Trust you have discarded crutches and are in good health. Fine weather, fine crops here. Lots of York State people out here. Some came on autos all the way. We are enjoying life. Lots of Jap[ane[s[e] & Mexicans in Los Ang[e]l[es] but no riots or fighting. All great. Best wishes.
