A bandshell on the beach at Long Beach attracts a crowd on this hand-tinted postcard. A double fence separates the listeners from the crowded stage. The publisher's number on the back is D7. Also on the back, Long Beach is said to be "Reached via the Salt Lake Route," a slogan adopted by the San Pedro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad, in 1916 the Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad, and later still the Union Pacific.
