M. H. DeYoung, Esq.,
San Francisco, Calif.,
My dear Sir:-
Your telegram of the 19th inst., is received today, advising that the trip to San Diego is abandoned. I regret this very much, but the failure of the Calif. Nat. Bank, here, has caused business men to be very conservative, and no one would promise any help, and I was not strong enough to bear the entire burden.
Thanking you for the interest you have taken, and hoping that if at any time there is anything I can do for you in this section you will not fail to command me, I remain,
Yours sincerely,
December 20, 1891.
Messrs Reilly & Co.,
San Francisco, Calif.,
Gentlemen:-
Your favor of the 15th inst., is here.
You can send us fifty sacks of your choice Salina Burbanks.
Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock.
