Dear Sir:-
F.G. Barry sends me bill of lading, which I enclose, for a box of nuts, shipped from New York, in your care, prepaid.

Will you kindly advise me when the box leaves Chicago, so I can keep posted as to its arrival here.

W. J. Irwin, Esq.,
Honolulu, H. I.,

Dear Mr. Irwin:-
Mr. White, bookkeeper of the Spreckels Brothers' Commercial Co., paid the State and County taxes for 1891 and 1892, on your lot. There are some delinquent taxes which are illegal, and about which I think you need give yourself no uneasiness.

Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock.
