Gentlemen:-
Your favor of the 27th inst., is received, also, telegram of today. We told you to ship the loins, provided it was older and heavier meat. Note you cannot afford to cut them shorter, and we cannot afford to take them cut as you have them. Whenever you can deliver loins cut as we require, will take them.

It is immaterial to us whether you ship mutton, as we can be supplied here.
