Miss Nettie Lent,
131 Post Street,
San Francisco, Calif.,

Your letter of the 1st inst., to my wife, has been handed me. We have no room suitable for you purpose in locations such as you desire. Might give you one of our private dining rooms, off the court, with entrance from hall, as you will see marked. Will want for this room $109 per month. However, there is a possibility we might need it in February and March in case our house gets very crowded. Your board would be $75 per month, occupying some room on one of the upper floors.
Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock
Manager.
