Wish you would give instructions to arrange for John, the cart man, to haul the slops from the encampment every morning as early as convenient, over to the chickens on North Island. The hotel wagon has no time to do it now. Tell John to collect all watermelon rinds, and such other material as would be feed for the chickens. Let him use one of the other carts if he does not wish to spoil his regular cart for that purpose.
