Jones, wearing a black robe, stands at the pulpit with a microphone. Behind him are Emmet Griffith in a white shirt, an unidentified choir member next to him, Rita Cordell, then Shirley Smith, and other unidentified members of the choir. At the back on the right is Johnny Brown wearing a greenish robe and dark tie. Next to him is Cleveland "CJ" Jackson in a suit, clapping, and on the far right, almost out of frame, is Sharon Cobb, also clapping. The yellow curtains and white brick background identify this as Benjamin Franklin Junior High School, where Peoples Temple held services as early as 1970 before eventually moving to their own location down the street. The numbers "157-5" are written on the back of the print, along with the number 12-29 (possibly representing a month and day). This color photograph is from the "Healings" album in the Peoples Temple Collection. Written on the inside front cover are the names Royal Mershon and Lula Mae Mershon. The print has been torn or bent such that the line can be seen on the top left. On the back it is repaired with red translucent tape. This photograph appears to be from the same scene as shown in MS0183-157-4
