This sepia card shows huts thatched with palm leaves. On the left a sign advertises "Shore Acres Furnished Cottages for rent, Lots for Sale, Apply at Cottages [?] J. L. Barker." Women tend children and can be seen outside in the walkway between other "cottages" further away. The publisher's number 393 is in the lower right corner. On the back, the publisher's name is in a rose-and-dagger-style dividing line characteristic of Edward Mitchell, who bought the California Sales Company in 1911.
