This is the first Arlington Hotel, which was destroyed by fire in 1909. A dirt road stretches from one side of the image to the other, showing a yellow building with a tower and front porch with pillars at the end of a driveway on the right, and a building with gables and two rows of colonnades on the first two floors, on the left. The new hotel built on the site would take up the entire city block. On the divided back of the card are the publisher's information, including the number 4499, a notice that the card was made in Germany, and the number 52788, in parentheses in the right lower corner of the back.
