This divided back bears a legible postmark, publishing information including the logo of Nani Li'i, artwork along the top and left edges, an intact postage stamp, a special cancellation, and a legible message and address in handwritten cursive using blue ink. Although the message is dated June 9, the postmark clearly reads July 9.

Hi Ken,
Well this is as close as I come to surfing. The weather yesterday and today has been just beautiful. I guess we are going to go to one of the other beaches today. I guess omu[?] & Bill are going with. Jan Judy & I went to the base movie last night and when we got home the guys were there. I haven't taken to[sic] many pictures
It's pretty here but so much of it looks the same. See all of you soon. Love Linda
