The El Encanto and the Samarkand were two hotels owned by the Linnard Hotels chain in Santa Barbara. This Real Photo Post Card captures their award-winning float for this year. On the left is a large vase beside an arch, and on the right a rider under pillars who holds the reins to an animal. There is no publishing information on the back.
