C. T. Art Colortone Teich [Curt Teich and Co., Chicago, Illinois ]
The description on the back of the card reads: "The Chapel of St. Francis of Assisi, designed for a place for weddings or meditation has been dedicated as the International Shrine for Aviators. Many celebrated air men and women have placed autographed wings on the famous Fliers' Wall." The courtyard in front of the chapel is shown here with a fountain, the shrine behind the fountain, and a Moorish portal above which is a Tiffany stained-glass window, as well as a tower on the right. The Teich number 9A-H1186 in the lower right margin was used to derive the date. The publisher's number R-62 is in front of the title in the top margin. This is a gold-bordered linen postcard.
