Written on the divided back of this postcard is the following paragraph:
"Glenwood Mission Inn, Riverside California. The Garden of the Bells contains many old and rare bells. The Campanile, like that at Pala Mission, and the Capistrano dome, with the old stone figure of Saint Francis on top, are distinctive features."

In the lower left corner of the back of the postcard is the publisher's number G 26, and under this number is the phrase "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders." The slogan may indicate that this card was part of a railroad promotion.
