This untraveled card nevertheless has a message written on the back. The cursive handwriting in blue ink almost fills the card starting from the bottom left corner and moving in the same direction as the publisher's name on the left margin. The writing nearly obscures the publishing information but does not reach the stampbox.

Here is where we went Easter AM. Leaving house before 4 AM and walking up, as no autos are allowed to park up there. It was was[sic] a wonderful sight at dawn to see the country below and sun just coming up. We enjoyed going up an easy graded trail all lighted by Scout boys with scout lights. Got here at 7.30

It rained most-all other places, but held-off until noon at Riverside. That was the first place the Easter Service was held on a mt top over 25 yrs near here.
