It would, also, probably lead to good opportunities for your friends to become interested in the stock of the different companies. There is a little of the street car stock which can be purchased, but not nearly a controlling interest. Our business is growing very rapidly, and we are not hesitating about putting in all the money necessary to continue the development on the same scale as in the past. The real estate market is also looking a good deal better than one month ago, particularly on Coronado Beach. Since the opening of our hotel, about two weeks since, our own property is becoming quite lively. It might be of interest to you to know that, though the hotel is not finished, and we only opened the doors to those who insisted on coming, we had, last evening, at dinner over 500 guests, and the arrivals on Saturday last were over 100. We have now about 400, and the guests are coming faster than they go. Yours truly,
E. S. Babcock
President
