Most of the children in this photograph were identified in Steven Warran's blog in a photograph taken at the same time and place and called "a promotional photograph used widely to demonstrate Jones' love of children," Only some of the names could be verified. The children who appear to match their memorial photographs on the "Alternative Considerations of Jonestown and Peoples Temple" site sponsored by San Diego State University are named here. Daren Eugene Swinney (also known by the last name of Werner, who died at Jonestown and whose name Warran misspells) is most likely the small boy in a white shirt standing at the back. Sitting beside Jones on the left is a young woman identified as Kim "Uneii," who might match the Kim Yoon Ai, also known as Betty Jean Tschetter, who died at Jonestown. Jones, sitting on the grass and wearing a red robe with a light-colored shirt and dark tie, has his right hand on the baby held by Yoon Ai, identified by Warran as John Stoen, but Stoen's available photographs were taken as a child. On Jones's lap is a child who might be Martin Amos, wearing a suit. Sitting on the right in shadow wearing a red shirt and striped trousers is a boy who might be Daren Janaro. The young woman in a yellow vest in the front right foreground is most likely Dorothy Buckley. The names of the other children identified by Warran--Phil Lacey kneeling behind Jones, in the striped shirt; Danny Beck standing on the right, in a red shirt; Danny Pierson immediately in front of Beck; and Steve Burnham sitting in front next to Buckley--could not be verified. The most likely location for the photograph is the Redwood Valley Peoples Temple site. This color photograph is from the album labeled "Father and Animals, Father and children, Political People, Enemies, Other speakers." The number 22-7 is handwritten on the photo.
