Post, Lauren C., Editor
The final issue features athletes on its cover, all of whom actively participated in the war and later returned to San Diego State College. Post introduces Charles Byrne as the new editor, writing "It was a lot of fun editing the News Letter, but let's not have another war!" The Class of 1949, new faculty, and the summer session are introduced as well, enrollment figures given, and there is an "in memoriam" list of those killed in action or training. On the last page is an introductory letter from Byrne.
