On the San Diego State College campus, Victory in Europe Day was not celebrated, but "was, rather an occasion for rededication of ourselves and our efforts toward the completion of the task that lies ahead," according to Post. The pictures on the first page are of three women from sororities, two of which, Phi Kappa Gamma and Phi Sigma Nu sponsored this issue "in part." There is a picture of the Main Quad on the back page.
