Five smiling women are pictured on the front page to represent the 75 married female students at San Diego State College. The issue was "sponsored in part by Phi Sigma Nu" sorority. Mabel Grant Hazard's feature "Aztecs on the Home Front" notes alumna "Faye Emerson's marriage to Col. Elliott Roosevelt" (son of President Franklin Delano).
