Andries Nielen
Reverse of night reflection of "Arco de Porvenir" ( Arch of the Future) during the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935. Handwriting on the front identifies the card as the work of Andries Nielen. Nielen was supposedly known for appending aphorisms like this one to his postcards.
