This is a "Plastichrome" creation showing "Thrills galore on the Ocean Sky Ride in this wonderland of fun for all," as the promotional message on the back claims. The Ocean Sky Ride was an aerial tram that rode out over the Pacific Ocean for half a mile. This amusement park was between Pier Avenue in the Ocean Park neighborhood and Navy Street in Venice, often abbreviated and pronounced POP (p-oh-p). On the left is the Sea Serpent roller coaster and in the middle a boardwalk. On the border of Santa Monica and Venice, it was opened in 1958 and closed in 1967, with final demolition in 1974-1975. A logo of the Pacific Ocean Park, often abbreviated and pronounced POP (p-oh-p), appears on the divided back along with the publisher's number P30338 in the stampbox.
