Redlands from Smiley Heights, California
The title is on a white label covering a strip of the right bottom of the image. In the image, trees frame a view across Redlands to the San Bernardino Mountains. Smiley Heights is an area of Redlands named for the twin philanthropists who built homes and a park there and sponsored other community projects. The Smileys themselves called the area Cañon Crest. The publisher's number 6228 is on the divided back along with the phrase "Made in Germany." This postcard would have been produced between 1907 and 1915.
