Established in 1907, this school was initially a Baptist Church institution. This is a view of the right side of the administration building, from the east at approximately the Hall of Science (later Duke Hall), showing the front pillars that are part of its portal. Located on Inspiration Hill, this building's construction began in 1909, with the first graduates in 1910. Knoll Hall residence for women, later moved to make way for the Hall of Letters, is in the distance on the left. Teich's number at the bottom of the dividing line on the back is A-52330, from which the date was derived.
