The hotel lobby shows a potted plant and chairs in the foreground, with a steam heater on the right. This was a Harvey House next to the train station, with a restaurant, later becoming the Barstow Harvey House and Rail Depot housing the Barstow Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau, the Western America Railroad Museum and the Route 66 Mother Road Museum. This "hand-colored" image has the number 521 in the lower left corner.
