This color postcard shows the Harvey House hotel and restaurant in San Bernardino on the left, with the Santa Fe train station on the right, behind the train tracks. Behind the station is a body of water with a bridge across it, and a small butte against the background of the Mitchel Range. In the top white border is a note handwritten in cursive using blue ink: "Am staying in this hotel only one on desert--". The publisher's number H-1218 is on the front preceding the title in the bottom white border. A lengthy description on the back states: "Adjoining the hotel at the left is a Recreation Hall for employees."
