A large log cabin nearly fills the color picture, a 4-story building in the middle with two wings each with its own chimney, the middle one from a 12-foot-wide fireplace. This 1892 lodge constructed by James Mooney, John Baylis and the Arrowhead Mountain Club was originally called the Squirrel Inn Club (after a novel by Frank Stockton) and its use was an exclusive perk to investors in surrounding land. It was in the Twin Peaks area of Lake Arrowhead near the junction of State Routes 18 and 189, closed in the 1930s and demolished.
