A series of stone steps punctuating an inclined walkway leads through palm and other trees that shade the path. The widow of millionaire George W. Bowers, who lived on Crescent Avenue, was known for having had several houses built on Cedar Avenue on plots she owned. Among them is the Charles E. Freeman House, built around 1904, preserved and restored by later owners. The publisher's number 5438 and phrase "Made in Germany" are on the back, which is divided but allowing only a return address in the small left panel.
