[Curt Teich and Company, Incorporated, Chicago, Illinois]
The hotel driveway leads past flowering shrubs to a 6-1/2-story building with several wings and turrets, a smokestack, and acres of lawn. Named after its owner Milo Potter, the hotel opened in 1903 and was destroyed by fire in 1921 under different ownership as the Ambassador Hotel. The entrance was on the site of Ambassador Park. The Teich number at the bottom of the dividing line on the back is A-13916, from which the date is derived.
