Five men sit on portions of a rock cliff that overhangs Matilija Creek in the Santa Ynez Mountains north of Ojai. A promotional sentence follows the title on the divided back: "One of the popular Canyons of Southern California, and a great health resort." The Ojai Valley is between Santa Barbara and Ventura, accessible from State Highway 33. The overhanging rock was submerged under Matilija Dam as it filled from 1948-1952.
