The Miramar Hotel is shown on this sepia-tone Real Photo Post Card as a couple of the cabins--otherwise known as "cottages" or "bungalows"--that were part of the hotel. "Miramar" refers both to a beach and surrounding area and to a hotel by that name in that area. The old hotel was demolished in December of 2012 with the expectation that it would be rebuilt. The brand of photographic paper used, according to the design of the stampbox on the divided back, was made from 1911-1921.
