Curt Teich and Company, Incorporated, Chicago, Illinois
This Spanish-Moorish style building with a courtyard, a clocktower, and a watchtower as well as arched portals and two and three floors was built in 1929. The description on the back reads: "This magnificent County Court House is a glorious tribute to the early Spanish days. This structure is acclaimed by world travelers as one of the most magnificent public buildings of modern architecture in the world." It was designed by William Mooser III. The Teich number in the bottom right corner of the gold border of this linen postcard is 3A-H604, from which the date was derived. On the back the Teich trademark "C.T. Art-Colortone" is in the dividing line. The publisher's number SB-113 is in the top border.
