A Spanish mission style three-story motel stands perpendicular to the street with flowering shrubs on the wall between the parking lot and the sidewalk. On the back, the description invites the reader to "24 spacious units in the heart of the medical center. Four blocks from main shopping district. Just a few steps to coffee shop and restaurant. Stay with us 'For the Best Rest East or West.'" The last part of the description was a motto for the TraveLodge motel chain. Also on the back at the bottom of the message panel is the word "Television," and above "Postcard" is "Spectra-Color." The trademark style "TraveLodge," with the "L" dividing and encompassing part of "Lodge" was eventually changed to "Travelodge."
