The description on the back reads: "This Fairytale Garden House was designed and built by Ferdinand Sorensen of Solvang." Sir Ferdinand Sorensen, knighted by Danish Queen Margarethe II in 1976, built the first Solvang windmill and his home in a Danish style in 1945. Solvang was founded by a group of Danish teachers in 1911, and Danish royalty visited more than once. The city has a Hans Christian Andersen Park and many windmills.
