In front of a red and white backdrop with the word "Toys" shown in cartoon style as animals, a man dressed as an engineer rides behind a small engine, with four children sitting in the next car. According to the back of this card, these cars ran on a "quarter-mile track running through the Nut Tree orchards and gardens." The Nut Tree complex, begun in 1921 as a fruit stand under a walnut tree along United States Highway 40, grew to more than 160 acres along the replacement highway, Interstate 80, with a gift shop, toy shop, rides, airport, and retail shops.
