Van Ornum Colorprint Company, Los Angeles, California
A float covered with red and white roses has people dressed as chickens for riders. Walking alongside the float are people, some dressed as hens, and one, on the far right, dressed as Chanteclere the rooster as in the tale of Renard the Fox and Chanteclere. The publisher's number is printed in the bottom left corner of the divided back: B1. Below it is the phrase "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders," which may indicate that this card was part of a railroad promotion.
